Dash to Cart storefronts currently use a Dash to Cart subdomain, such as: yourstore.dashtocart.io

This gives every merchant a dedicated public storefront while keeping the setup simple and consistent across the Dash to Cart platform.

Can I connect my own domain?
Custom domains are not currently confirmed as a supported storefront option in the current Dash to Cart product documentation.

Merchants should therefore use the Dash to Cart storefront URL assigned when the store is created.

Can I change my Dash to Cart store URL?
The store handle used in your Dash to Cart URL is set when the store is created and cannot currently be changed afterwards.

For example: yourstore.dashtocart.io

The your store portion is the store handle.

Can I still change my store name?
Yes. Your Friendly Name is separate from your permanent store handle and can be updated under: Settings → General

The Friendly Name is the public-facing store name customers see when they visit your storefront.

This means your public brand name can evolve even though the underlying Dash to Cart store handle remains unchanged.

How can I brand my storefront without a custom domain?
Dash to Cart gives merchants several ways to customise the storefront itself.

Under Settings → Storefront, you can configure:
  • Store icon
  • Banner
  • Brand colour
  • Announcement
  • Store badges
  • Storefront integrations

You can also update your store logo, Friendly Name, description and customer-facing support information through the relevant settings.

What if I already have my own website?
You can still use your existing website, social pages, marketplace stores or other channels alongside Dash to Cart.

Your Dash to Cart storefront can act as an additional direct sales channel that you link to from your existing digital presence.

Dash to Cart is positioned as a hyper-lightweight D2C commerce hub, so it does not necessarily need to replace your existing website or marketplace channels.

Will custom domains be supported in future?
There is no confirmed roadmap information in the current Dash to Cart knowledge base.

To avoid giving merchants incorrect expectations, do not promise a release date or say custom-domain support is “coming soon” unless it is officially announced.
